In the autumn of 2025, we decided to develop our breeding program and turned to Birgitta Jonasson at Stora Nääs Stud. We were delighted to have the opportunity to purchase La Cornia SN, a horse she had bred. She is by Cornet Obolensky, who tops the WBFSH sire rankings as the world’s best showjumping stallion.
La Cornia SN is a 2-star select mare; she earned a showjumping diploma from the SWB (Swedish Warmblood) studbook as a three-year-old, scoring 52 points. She also holds a *Bezirkspremie* (District Premium) diploma from the Holsteiner Verband, awarded in 2022.
La Cornia SN comes from a proven performance dam line. Her dam, Laramie SN (by Clarimo), has recorded wins up to the 1.30m level and has been exported to Finland. La Cornia SN’s full brother, Karimo SN (by Kannan), was sold to Aisling Zetterman; he has achieved wins at 1.45m with rider André Brandt and has competed in the Scandinavian Open, the Breeders’ Trophy, and at Falsterbo.
